About
Kim O'Neil is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department and Assistant Director/Groupwork Coordinator at the UIC Writing Center. She teaches first-year research writing, tutor training courses, and a prematriculation program for graduate students entering the School of Public Health. Her research interests focus on writing center praxis, disability studies, and health and educational disparities. Her stories have appeared in Electric Literature, Juked, Packingtown Review, and Faultline; her first collection of linked stories Fever Dogs, was published by Northwestern University Press in August 2017.
