Annah Browning is a Visiting Lecturer for the English Department and the UIC Honors College. She is also co-editor of Grimoire Magazine, a literary magazine for the darkly inclined. She holds an MFA in poetry from Washington University in St. Louis and a Ph.D. in English from the Program for Writers at the University of Illinois-Chicago. She is the author of the chapbook The Marriage from Horse Less Press and the recipient of recognitions from Vermont Studio Center, New York State Writer's Institute, Juniper Institute, the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, and the Academy of American Poets. Her specialities include poetry, creative nonfiction, the history of the lyric, British Romanticism, speculative literature, and the gothic.
