U of I Press Announces Summer 2020 Internship for Grad Students
The University of Illinois Press in conjunction with the Graduate College is now accepting applications for paid graduate student interns during Summer 2020.
The internship offers graduate students a chance to gain valuable experience in a scholarly press setting and learn the nuts and bolts of publishing. Interns will also have the opportunity to pursue special projects.
The Press is a leading publisher of music history; African American studies; film and media; labor history; women, gender, and sexuality studies; sports history; and American ethnic studies and foodways, among others.
Those interested should submit an application for the $5,000 Provost's Graduate Internship Award through the Graduate College simultaneously with their U of I Press application.
