Program for Writers One-on-One Events Featured in Year of Creative Writing
The University of Illinois is sponsoring a "Year of Creative Writers," supported by the Presidential Initiative to Celebrate the Impact of the Arts and Humanities. Our very own Creative Writing Faculty are Featured Authors, along with other prominent writers including Tracy K. Smith and Roxane Gay.
In addition, the Department's three spring colloquia that are part of the "One-on-One" series, which is run by PhD students in the Program for Writers, are featured events. This year's One-on-Ones were planned by Laura Jok, Dan Magers, and Kathleen Blackburn.
