Professor Roger Reeves Wins 2014 Larry Levis Reading Prize for Debut Book of Poetry “King Me”
LAS Department of English Assistant Professor Roger Reeves is the recipient of the 2014 Larry Levis Reading Prize. The award is presented annually by Virginia Commonwealth University for an author’s first or second publication of poetry. The Levis Reading Prize is presented on behalf of the university’s Masters in Creative Writing Program. Winners of the award receive a $2000 honorarium and an invitation to speak in a public event in Richmond, Virginia. Assistant Professor Reeves’ first book, King Me, is a collection of poetry released by Copper Canyon Press.
