Prof. Alfred Thomas Publishes Book on King Richard II’s Court
Professor of English Alfred Thomas's latest book is The Court of Richard II and Bohemian Culture: Literature and Art in the Age of Chaucer and the Gawain Poet. The book is the "[f]irst detailed exploration of the role played by Bohemian tradition and customs on the court of Richard II," according to the publisher.
Thomas is the author of ten monographs, including most recently Shakespeare, Catholicism, and the Middle Ages and Reading Women in Late Medieval Europe.
