Peter Coviello Publishes Op-Ed in Salt Lake Tribune
The UIC English professor, Director of Graduate Studies, and author of Make Yourselves Gods: Mormons and the Unfinished Business of American Secularism recently published an opinion piece reflecting on the echoes of 19th-Century Mormonism in the modern church.
The occasion for the op-ed was the October 5, 2019, church conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS); such conferences are held twice a year.
