ENGL 591 – Prospectus Research Registration
How to register for ENGL 591
- Pass your prelim exams.
- Identify your dissertation committee chair (often, but not always, the chair of your prelim exam committee) and obtain approval to register for 591 with that person.
- Fill out the form below.
- Register for the appropriate number of credit hours via my.uic.edu.
Note: ENGL 591 is a variable credit hour course and may be taken for any number of credit hours up to 16. It may be repeated if necessary. At least four (4) hours are required to graduate with the PhD degree.
