Judith Gardiner's interests include feminist and psychoanalytic theory, twentieth-century and contemporary writing by women, seventeenth-century English literature, feminist pedagogy, and gender, women's, and masculinity studies. She is a member of the editorial collective of the interdisciplinary journal Feminist Studies. Her edited book Approaches to Teaching Alison Bechdel's Fun Home is forthcoming from MLA.
