LAS Graduate Student Featured in Upcoming Gallery 400 Event

Tyler Mills, PhD student in Poetry at UIC, is among the speakers at Gallery 400’s upcoming Ghost Nature Reading Series exhibit, supported, in part, by the LAS Department of English. The three-part reading series features "artists, poets, and writers whose work complements Ghost Nature, a group exhibition at Gallery 400 based around the strangeness of the natural world."

The reading series will take place Fridays at 12:00 p.m. in the Gallery 400 lecture room, located at 400 S. Peoria St., Chicago, Ill. The reading series will include the following speakers:

Her poetry and prose have recently appeared in Blackbird, Believer, Boston Review, Robert Frost Review, and Writer’s Chronicle. She has received awards from the Crab Orchard Review, Gulf Coast, and Third Coast, and scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and the Vermont Studio Center.
