Robin Gayle Receives Teacher Recognition Program Award
Senior Lecturer Robin Gayle has been named as one of the 14 faculty recognized as part of the 2018-2019 Teacher Recognition Program.
Awarded by the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the campus-wide, self-nominated, and faculty-administered Teacher Recognition Program is the only such program at UIC. It recognizes faculty with documented excellence in teaching over the three years preceding the award and carries a permanent $1,500 increase to the awardee's base salary. Tenure track and clinical faculty are eligible to apply, as well as other faculty with a demonstrated long-term commitment to teaching and an appointment greater than 49% (such as lecturers and instructors).
