Deirdre McCloskey, professor of economics, history, English and communication, was a featured guest on WBUR Boston's "On Point with Tom Ashbrook" for a segment exploring gender identity. The segment aired in response to the recent 35-year prison sentence of Private Chelsea (Bradley) Manning for the leak of classified documents to Wikileaks and her subsequent announcement that she is transgender.
