Required for all graduate students and especially those who have teaching responsibilities
This workshop will review the backdrop of recent federal and state legislative mandates that have required campuses to be proactive in the prevention of sexual violence. You will receive an understanding of Title IX, your role as a mandated reporter, campus resources, what constitutes sexual violence/harassment, and Title IX investigations. How to handle disclosures from students will also be discussed.
